GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Without a doubt the DeSite 68V is the toughest and most versatile sub compact vibratory screener on the market. If you own mini equipment with a 66 inch or less bucket the SLG 68V is a great investment into screening independence.

The 68V can be fitted with meshes big and small from a 4 x 4 mesh all the way down to 1/8 in both square and elongated for screening high moisture materials.

Hourly screener output is rated at 10 to 15 cubic yards per hour With built in fork pockets for moving 68 around onsite this screener is highly portable. Staying close to the product being screened is the secret to good hourly production.

SCREENER FEATURES

The 68V screen deck is equipped with rubber skirts on each side, designed to catch any stray material that might fall from the bucket and miss the deck. These skirts are made of flexible rubber, allowing them to bend and flex if they are accidentally hit by the bucket, ensuring durability and minimizing damage.

The 68V uses the same rugged cantilevered screen deck suspension system as the 78 screener. Built to absorb the shock of a bucket making contact with the screen deck, this suspension system works to cantilever the screen deck. Pushing down on the top of the screen deck with the operators bucket brings the bottom up to create an action / reaction. This allows the screen deck to tilt faster up and down using less deck movement for a more aggressive screening action.

No other screener design has this ability to jump the screen deck up and down for dislodging rocks, sticks, and sod.

The SLG 68 screener comes with a 3600rpm 120 volt power pack that aggressively vibrates the wire mesh to resist wet materials sticking to the wire and plugging the mesh. We have crowned the screen deck and side tensioned the mesh to prestress the wire making it impact resistant. The SLG 68 is extremely efficient and requires only a 4500 watt generator, or 120 land power if within 75ft. Built into the power box we have install the starting capacity to the energy for the vibratory motor on start up. The SLG 68 comes with a heavy duty 10 gauge power cord that is hard wire into the power box.

The tilting screen deck on the 68V gives the operator total control to manipulate the screen deck as needed to match the deck slope to the material being screened. Steeper for wet and flatter for dry soils and gravels and rock.

Screen deck visibility is important when screening. With DeSite screeners the operator has the ability see the entire underside of the screen to see how the material is processing.

SCREENER ACCESSORIES

For moving the SLG 68V around the job site, our Bucket Transport Lugs provide a time-saving solution that eliminates the need for pallet forks. These lugs slide directly into the fork pockets and feature a retention hole to securely lock them in place. Once installed, you can easily pick up the screener with your bucket and move it quickly and efficiently. There’s no need for a hitch, wheels, wiring, or digging—just simple, hassle-free transport.

ABOUT MESH

square

We offer a wide range of mesh that are quick and easily changed. The ability to install large and small high quality mesh makes DeSite SLG Screeners a time saver and money maker. We offer both square and elongated mesh pattern in a double lock crimp weave. Our double lock weave puts two crimps in each wire as they intersect, This creates a strong weave and a stronger, more stable mesh.By directing material flow to the top of the screen deck, this system ensures maximum production and efficiency. The SLG 108's deflector is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing it to open and close as needed to manage oversized materials effectively. Additionally, the 108's feed deflector fits into our quick disconnect lugs, making it easy to remove when necessary.

Elongated

Our elongated pattern mesh is what we call a triple chute weave where a group of three wires intersect the main with wires. A space of four inches has full unobstructed opening before the next three wires intersect the mesh again. Our elongated pattern meshes are designed to handle higher moisture material when screening is more challenging. Hourly production are always considerably higher when elongated pattern mesh in in use.

Topsoil and Triple Mix

Topsoil is in demand and profitable. Depending upon the customer and their needs some want it very fine while other are more price conscious and want commercial grade topsoil.

Wood Mulch

Wood mulch is a light product that travels over the screen deck differently that a soil or aggregate product. It is recommended to run a bit bigger mesh. Often people will screen out the fines and mix it into the topsoil for slow release decomposition. It is a great way to recycle the wood fines.
